Dancin Power Youth Programs

Dancin Power Youth Programs brings together high school students from across the United States ages of 14-17 to actively make a positive impact on the community through the power of the expressive arts. Throughout this process, teens will engage in workshops, training, community engagement, team building exercises and meetings with professionals from various sectors. By being part of our programs teens will a sense of fulfillment in making a difference in a child's life. They will gain life perspective, being part of Dancin Power absolutely transform lives.

Dancin Power Teen Ambassador
Participation and support of the community is a critical component to sustain Dancin Power’s effort of continuing to bring the programming to hospitalized children. That is why we’ve developed Dancin Power Teen Ambassador Program. The program provides a sense of belonging, a sense of autonomy and power, that helps teens to develop needed social and decision-making skills, builds a sense of competence, philanthropy, as well as motivates them to be persistent and continue to follow their dreams like we did when we founded Dancin Power. Dancin Power Jr. Teacher Program
To be a Dancin Power Teacher inside children's hospitals, one must be at least 18 years old, as that is the requirement of most hospitals. We launched Dancin Power's Jr. Teacher program in 2018 to provide opportunities for the youth ages of 14-17, in the communities we serve. Once accepted to the DP Jr. Teacher Program, the youth will be eligible to attend the Dancin Power Jr. Teacher training. After their training is completed, Jr. Teachers will make a video of the adapted choreography develop during the training to be shared with kids undergoing hospitalization who participate in our programs.
