DANCIN POWER TEEN AMBASSADOR - 2018

Meet Ela Solmsen, Dancin Power's first Teen Ambassador from Brooklyn, NY.

How did you first get involved with Dancin Power?
I found Dancin Power while looking for a bat mitzvah project. I am a dancer, and my great aunt was battling Leukemia
at the time, so when I learned about Dancin Power work and mission, I felt that they would be the perfect organization for my project.

What does being a Dancin Power Teen Ambassador means to you?
Being a Dancin Power Teen Ambassador to me means that I will have a chance to help hospitalized children have as much
fun with dance as I do. It also means that I will have a chance to talk about Dancin Power's work and share with others
the importance of making dance accessible to all children regardless of their physical abilities.

Anything else you’d like people to know about you?
I have been dancing since I was two-years-old. I can’t wait to be part of such an empowering community.
